 Twin Loss Survey Minimize

2009 Conference Guest Speaker Dr. Nancy L. Segal And Twinloss Survey

Dr. Nancy L. Segal, Professor of Developmental Psychology at California State University, Fullerton is conducting a study of the significance of losing a twin.  Twinloss is a unique loss and deserves much more professional attention.  Twins (and parents and siblings of young twins) can complete a questionaire; time for participation is approximately 30 minutes.  All data will be kept strictly confidential, and a summary of the findings will be made available to all participants when the research is completed.  Readings and source material will be suggested.

All stages of the life span are included-loss of a twin childhood (5-11), adolescence and adulthood.  In-utero loss is not covered in this survey.  Nancy is a twin and a author of many books on twins.  "Entwined Lives" which includes many chapters on twinloss, is available on this website's store.

You can participate in two ways:

1.  Please e-mail your mailing address to Dr Segal at:  nsegal@fullerton.edu - you will receive a questionnaire and a stamped return envelope.

2.  Go to Dr. Segal's website http://psych.fullerton.edu/nsegal/index.html print the survey and mail it back.  You will be reimbursed with stamps.
